The INTERNATIONAL JUGGLERS ASSOCIATION and the IJA NEWSLETTER are listed in an article entitled "Sources in Popular Entertainment" by I J A e r John Towsen (pp. 118 - 122) in the March 1974 (Vol. 18, No.1 "T-61") issue of The Drama Review (published by The Drama Review, New York University , 74 Press Building, New York , New York 10003 ). The same issue (p.116) contains a photograph of IJAers Michael Christensen, Peggy Snider, and Larry Pisoni performing the "assenbly line" with Indian clubs in the San Francisco Mime Troupe's play Frozen Wages. Members of the Dell 'Arte Troupe are shown (p. 59) Juggling balls, rings and clubs. Photographs (p. 69) were taken by IJAer Judy Burgess for an article "The Classification of Circus Techniques" (pp. 65-70) by IJAer Hovey Burgess. John Towsen also served as an Assistant Editor for the entire publication.

 

The (unidentified) photograph of a young club Juggler on a high unicycle (p. 21) in the March/April 1974 (Vol 15, No. 1) issue of American Youth - A General Motors Publication for New Young Drivers (published by American Youth magazine, Warren , Michigan 48093 ) appears to be IJAer Tommy Weinholdt.
