CONFLICTING VERSIONS OF THE THREE­THREE-TEN PASSING SEQUENCE

 

As most of you who have tried to do a "three-three-ten" with someone other than your usual partner have discovered, there are a number of versions of the three­three-ten passing pattern. David LeDoux has pointed out that there are at least two versions in print, one on page 54 of Carlo's The Juggling Book and one on page 95 of Benge's The Art of Juggling. It would be nice if the IJA had an official version of the three-three-ten 'which we all learn in addition to our local variation; however, throughout history, every attempt at standardization has only resulted in another variation being created with its own group of avid fans.
