CALENDAR OF JUGGLING EVENTS
Every Sunday. The Seattle Jugglers' Association meets from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm in the Food Circus Court of the Seattle Center. At 1: 30 pm they often move outside for a couple of additional hours of juggling. Contact Ray Fryson, Seattle, Washington, for further information.
Every Sunday. Boston area jugglers meet from 1 pm until 4 pm or later in front of the M.I.T. Student Center in Cambridge, weather permitting. In case of inclement weather, the meeting will be in some room on the fourth floor of the Student Center; hunt for it. For further information, phone David LeDoux. Visitors are welcome.
Every Thursday. The M.I.T. Juggling Club will meet from 8 pm until 11 pm in room 407 of the M.I.T. Student Center. Call David LeDoux for further information. Visitors are welcome.
Every Thursday. Jugglers in the Marblehead, Massachusetts, area get together at the old fire house on School Street. Check with Eric Persson for further information.
Every Friday. A free juggling workshop is held from 12 noon to 2 pm in the Choir Room of Trinity Church at Broadway and Rector Streets in downtown New York City. John Grimaldi is workshop leader.
Every Saturday. In Berkeley, California, a juggling class meets from 10:30 am until 5:30 pm in Willard Park on Hillegass near Derby in front of the flagpole. Everyone is welcome. Joining members pay $20 for perpetual membership. Jugglers passing through the Bay Area are encouraged to attend free of charge. Phone Bill Barr in San Francisco for further information.
Last Saturday of every month (or at least June 24 and July 26). Los Angeles. Jugglers will get together at Point Fermin Park at the end of the Harbor Freeway next to the Pacific Ocean. Follow these directions: Take any freeway to the Harbor Freeway. South to end. Get off on Gaffey St. in San Pedro and go south. Follow Gaffey St. for approximately two and one-half miles to its end at Point Fermin Park. Park in appropriate place. Point Fermin is a large park following the coastal cliffs of the Pacific Ocean, and there are many suitable places for juggling. There is a stage in the park near the parking places near the end of Gaffey St. Between the stage and the Ocean is a good place to meet.
Second Sunday of each month. The Buffalo Juggling Club of Buffalo, New York, meets from 1 pm until 3 pm at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 96 Jewett Parkway, Buffalo. Phone Rich Chamberlin for further information.
June 17. The M.I.T. Juggling Club is sponsoring an all-day juggling gettogether on Saturday, June 17, 1978, from 9am until 10pm. It will be held in the Sala de Puerto Rico, a huge room on the second floor of the M.I.T. Student Center. The Student Center is just across the street from the main entrance to M.I.T. which is at 77 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, Mass. A large lawn outside the Student Center will also be available if the weather cooperates. Jugglers of all abilities are welcome. For further information, call David LeDoux.
June 24. There will be a juggling gettogether from 10 am on at Salan Willows in Salem, Massachusetts. Call Eric Persson for more information.
