Spring Festivals
CALIFORNIA The
Stromboli Family has organized the 6th Annual Isla Vista Jugglers
Festival, to be held April 3 and 4 from noon to dusk in Anisqoyo
Park. Following Highway 101
north from Santa Barbara, go 10 miles and exit at Los Cameros. Turn
left headed toward the ocean and follow the signs to Isla Vista. Located
close to Santa Barbara, the festival will be a warm-up for the IJA
Convention there. There is no registration fee, and there will be an
open stage. Contact: John Zuber, Isla Vista, CA Jugglers are invited to enter three contests at the San Francisco County Fair, June 25-27. To register, meet at 2 p.m. May 23 in Jugglers Meadow in Golden Gate Park. Contests will be - five ball endurance, three eggs with mandatory tricks and three object variety (objects scored according to how difficult they are to juggle). EUROPE The
fifth European IJA Convention will be held September 10 and 11 in
downtown Copenhagen, Denmark. Beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday and
running through 11 p.m. Sunday, it will be at Studiestraede 38, a
location sufficient for 150 jugglers. For information, contact: Jens
Brix Christiansen Helmsvej - Denmark INDIANA The
St. Fred's Day Jugglers Invitational, hosted by Jugglers Anonymous,
will be in Fort Wayne, IN April 2-4. Events
include obstacle course juggle, team egg juggling, community shows, a
party, competitions and joggling races. For more information on

Third Annual Midwest Jugglers Convention will be June 4 - 6 at the
University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA. Events
include joggling races, numbers competitions, workshops, a party and
opportunities for public performance. Competition prizes will be
awarded, and door prizes will be given. There is no charge to enter
competitions. Convention registration is $4. Lodging next door to
the convention site is available for $6.50 per night. To register or

JERSEY
The Rainbow Pageant and Hot Air Balloon Garden, sponsored by Spectrum '82 of the Arts Council of the Morris Area will be Saturday, May 22 in the formal gardens at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Jugglers wishing to perform, contact: Geri Silk.
The
Third Annual "Return to Amherst" Spring Mini-Convention
will be April 2 - 4 at the Robert Crown Center at Hampshire College,
site of the 1979 IJA Convention.
Festivities
begin at 2 p.m. Friday, continuing round-the-clock until Sunday 10
p.m. There will be workshops, a public show downtown on Saturday
night, time to relax in the pool and sauna and plenty of juggling
for everyone. Hampshire
The Y's Jugglers of Columbia, MO, will host Jugglefest '82 April 16 - 18. The multi-faceted extravaganza will feature a public show and attempt to beat Larry Vaksman's 2-hour, 54-minute three ball endurance feat of last September. Television coverage is assured, and a Saturday night barbecue will be held. The festival is free, but a fee will be charged for the barbecue.
Housing
in the homes of club members will be provided to the limit of
available beds, but other lodging information is available. Prop
vendors are welcome, but must receive prior approval. For more
