IJA Receives Contributions

The IJA has received some generous donations recently. Hovey Burgess of New York City, author of the manual Circus Arts, donated a dozen wood-and-bamboo clubs.

Roger Dollarhide, official IJA photographer, donated a set of old Newsletters. If you've got printed material, old props or extra money, give it to the IJA. All donations are tax-deductible. Contact Rich Chamberlin, secretary/treasurer, Kenmore, New York.

Convention Workers Sought

Plenty of volunteers are needed to help the IJA run an efficient and fun convention.  We need a skilled Parliamentarian for the business meeting, as well as door watchers, ticket checkers, registration booth workers, drivers, couriers and timers for events. If you can afford to donate a few hours of your time during convention week, please write Gene Jones, Convention Chairman, New York, New York. Be sure to include your telephone number.

Public Show Info

Anyone interested in performing in the Public Show at this year's convention should send a resume, photo and publicity materials to Gene Jones, Convention Chairman, New York, New York. Please include your telephone number!

Judges Needed

Greg Moss, Championships Director, is looking for judges for this year's championship events. If you think you qualify, contact him at Rochester, New York. Please include your phone number.

Santa Barbara Videotapes

Videotapes of the Santa Barbara Convention are now available. All IJA members may purchase workshop tapes. Championships and Public Show tapes will be sold only to the performers who appeared in those shows. They may only purchase segments of their own acts.  For further information and prices, contact Gene Jones.
