Doesn't this sound remarkably similar to "hint-turn-ashenold-jugglers-says-so-see-asian'

Larry
Vee gives tips on tricks for beginners
You
are a beginning juggler, and you'd like to learn some basic three
object body tricks such as under the arm, behind the back, or under
the leg in a cascade. I have some ideas that are sure to help.
First
of all, be sure you can do the trick smoothly with one object. Then
try it with two. Let's use the arm as an example. Place object A in
the right hand and object B in the left. Make the right hand throw
under the left arm, then toss object B in the regular pattern. The
right hand will have to sweep back under the left arm after its throw
to make the catch.
The
next step is to do the same move as above, but make the trick throw as
the second throw. Be sure that you are catching A first, then
B. If your first throw (from the left hand) is too high, they will
both land about the same time.
Congratulations!
You're now ready to try the stunt with three objects. I recommend
starting with two balls in the right hand and doing the trick on the
first throw of the cascade. Once you've got that, begin with two balls
in the left hand and make your move with the right hand as the second
throw of the pattern. A further intermediate step would be to begin
with two in the right hand, and do the trick on the second toss from
that hand.
By
this time, you've done so much ground work that you should be able to
do the trick any time in your cascade. In time you can learn to do the
stunt on every third throw, every other throw, and every throw. Also,
don't forget to work on the same feat left handed shortly after
getting it with the right.
Naturally,
this instruction method can be used for countless maneuvers. It sure
has helped me! |
