Drexel HIli skills levels

 

Beginner Certificate:

Take juggling lessons and attend a levels testing session as a spectator. Ask for a certificate.

 

Further Certificate:

All tests are to be smoothly performed as routines from beginning to end without stops. Approximately three drops are allowed. A cascade may be used between various tricks. Numbers in parentheses refer to the number of times trick is to be performed.

 

LEVEL ONE

1) Two ball toss beginning; Cascade (30); Freeze stop

 

LEVEL TWO

Pass level one, plus:

Two ball beginning variations; Two balls weak hand (3); Two balls strong hand (5); Overtoss with strong hand (3); Under leg (1); Flourish freeze stop

 

LEVEL THREE

Pass level two, plus:

Front and side juggling with a partner; Three ball beginning; Two ball columns (3) into milk-the-goat; Ping-pong; Off arm bounce (2); Behind the back (1); Behind the back freeze stop

 

LEVEL FOUR

Pass level three, plus:

Front and side takeaways; one club and two balls (20) with double spin of club freeze stop; Shower beginning (5); Two ball columns (3) into fake goat (3) into milk-the-goat (3) into golden arches; Both hands toss under both legs (1) or continuous under leg toss (3); Off each arm (1); Off each leg (1); Off leg freeze stop

 

ADVANCED LEVEL

Pass level four, three clubs (20) with double stop, three-three-ten with balls, plus: A starting trick, six new tricks, and a finish - all new! Possibilities include Four balls (16); Tennis (3); Double claw (3); Claw series; Claw ping-pong (3); Head rolls (3); Neck trap jokes; Under arm toss (3); Shoulder toss (3); Soft claw (3); Pervert's juggle; Finger rolls (3); Ball sandwich and towers; Behind back set; Under leg set; Boston cross (1); Flashes set; Bouncers. Remember - the best tricks are your own tricks!
