New affiliate leader plans publication for clubs

What's up? Juggling clubs with people in them to be exact. It seems that they have been springing to life faster than we can count. The task of updating the Meetings section of Juggler's World is monumental, but with your help there is hope. Please write with the following information concerning your club we can get the process rolling.

1. The name of the city in which the meeting takes place. 2. The name of your club. 3. The time and location of your meeting. Please include if possible the name, address, and phone number of your meeting place. 4. The name, address, and phone number of a contact. This should be someone that we can call or write to for information and who will be responsible for updating the listing in the Meetings section.

Now that we are getting it together just what are we going to do with it? To start with the IJA is going to publish a monthly newsletter for juggling clubs. Articles will cover a variety of topics that apply to clubs such as:

ˇ Insurance: Do you need it and if so where do you get it?

ˇ Events: If your juggling festival is not timed to coincide with an issue of Juggler's World, or you have some late-breaking information to get out just let us know and we will print it.

ˇ Newsletters: There are a growing number of clubs that publish their own newsletter. We'll let you know how to get a subscription.

ˇ Equipment discounts: Many prop manufacturers provide discounts to clubs.

ˇ Pointers: The how and why of dues, getting facilities, holding a juggling festival, getting publicity, publishing a newsletter, and much more.

ˇ Activities: What can a club do? You would be surprised what they're already doing!

Who gets this fun and fact-filled newsletter? Clubs listed in the Meetings section, so don't delay! The newsletters will be mailed monthly beginning soon. If you want to submit articles or need information contact:
