was a very long run with seven bans, along with a half-shower. He
did five rings with a half pirouette, full pirouette, flat half
shower and ended with pancake throws. He did eight rings for a good
while, then worked down to three by placing the rings in various
places around his body. He retrieved them to work back up to eight.
He
did a variety of three clubs tricks, then bounced a ball on his head
while still juggling the clubs. He began five clubs by juggling four
and balancing a fifth on his head. The balanced club dropped into
his pattern and he did solid back crosses and a half pirouette. He
then did seven clubs for 24 throws.
He
warmed up for his show with nine rings for a good length of time,
and also did five balls in one hand. His father and coach, Nick
Gatto, said Anthony is working on seven in one hand by feeding them
into his throwing hand from his free hand. He is working toward
performing eight clubs in his act and has gotten 13 throws with nine
clubs in practice.

Wally
Eastwood has been performing at Ballys in Las Vegas. He works hard
in a fast-paced act, beginning with a three club routine that
includes forward runs, pirouettes, front hand springs and three
clubs in one hand while running around the stage.
He
adds a club and does back crosses with four, then a spread and fast
quadruple flips. One more is added to the pattern and he does
doubles, then a triple-double pattern before ending with a leg catch
with one of the clubs.
Time
for pool table pockets! He straps the pocket belt around his waist,
force bounces five balls and then throws one high to be caught in a
pocket. A small spotlight follows the bounced ball nicely up in .the
air and back down.
Dressed
in a red, white and blue costume, he does three hats with an American
theme. With patriotic music as accompaniment, he does flips and head
bounces with the hats.
Finally, he does two, three and five ping pong balls from his mouth. Once again, the spot follows the balls up and down, giving the act a nice extra touch. |
