Records Fall in Baltimore Between
Anthony Gatto and a huge crowd of enthusiastic jugglers in general,
Guinness juggling records fell like rain at the Baltimore convention.
Gene Jones, Guinness World Judge for Juggling, was on hand to certify
the following Guinness World Records:
Records
set by Anthony Gatto: 45:02 for five clubs; 3:56 for seven balls;
5:32.4 for seven rings; 1: 13 for seven clubs; 1: 17 for eight rings;
and the only person to ever flash eight clubs.
Dan
Bennett's flash of ten bean bags ties the existing record of Enrico
Rastelli and Albert Lucas.
The
Big Toss Up set a new record for the most people juggling the most
objects in one place at one time -- 524 people juggling 1,997 objects.
The joggling races produced several records as well. A relay team of Albert Lucas, Owen Morse, Jon Wee and Tuey Wilson joggled the mile in a new record of 4:01.49. Owen Morse ran 100 meters in 11.68. Billy Gillen did a mile joggling five balls in 7:41.01 and five kilometers in 28: 11. And, Kathy Glynn set a women's record for the mile joggle with a time of 6: 17. |
