Australia The
First Australian Juggling Convention will be centered in and around
the Gold Coast Arts Centre in Surfers Paradise near Brisbane. It
will feature
workshops, games, competitions, public show, parade and open air
fireshow. Accommodations are available in theArts Centre starting at
$15 per day for backpackers. Registration for the whole festival is
$75, not including meals and accommodations. Only 150 participants

annual Winnipeg Juggling
Festival will
feature as special guests this year Mike Vondruska
and Ken Schultz. The festival will
be held at Kildonan East High School and registration is $12.

Y's Jugglers will hold their 11th annual
"Jugglefest '91" at the University of Missouri.
As always, there is no registration fee, and activities will
include workshops,
a free public stage show, parade, picnic, prize raffles,

19-21, 1991 Fort Wayne, Indiana Jugglers
Anonymous will host the 11th annual Sir Isaac Newton Memorial
Juggling Festival in Franke Park Pavilion #1, by the zoo. It's a
closed, heated pavilion with a 12-foot ceiling and room for
unicycling. Hours are Friday 11-11; Saturday 8 a.m.- 11 p.m and

24-28 Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania Movement
Theatre International presents the 10th anniversary festival June
24-28 as an international clown-theatre congress. Activities include
master classes (June 1722 and July 1-12) and performances by more
than two dozen individuals and groups from around the world during
the congress. Keynote speaker will be Judy Finelli, artistic
director of the Pickle Family Circus. Those interested in attending

17-18,1991 Benton, Pennsylvania The
Red Rock Jugglefest will be at the Red Rock campground in the
mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania. (Located at the intersection
of highways 487 and 118, between Wilkes Barre and Williamsport.)
Cottages, tents and campers permitted, with discount rates for IJA
members. There will be open juggling and games, as well as fishing,

28- SEPT 1,1991 Verona, Italy The
14th European Juggling Convention will be in the homeland of Enrico
Rastelli. Organizers Jules Howarth and Doug Orton promise more
details later.
The
first juggling festival in the Soviet Union will be held in Tbilisi,
the capital of this Soviet republic bordering Turkey. Complete

1991 Lodi Juggling Festival will be in Micke Grove Park and Zoo. For a

27-DEC. 31 (TENTATIVE) Indonesia The
first Asian Circus and Juggling Festival will take place on the
idyllic island of Gili Meno, just off the coast of Lombok. Gili Meno
is surrounded with white beaches and coral reefs, a paradise for
snorkeling and diving. Transport from Lombokwill be provided.
Accommodation for 150 jugglers will be in cabins, and there are
several restaurants on the island. The final day will be spent in the
city of Mataram on Lombok for a public show, parade and New Year's
