Feb. 5-7, Atlanta, Georgia

The 15th Annual Groundhog Day Jugglers Festival will be held at the Grady High School girl's gymnasium. The usual activities will occur, including competitions for the coveted Phil Trophies, party and public show. Contact LJ.; Chamblee GA.

 

Feb. 13-14, Charleston, Illinois

The Third Annual Juggling Extrava­ganza will be at McAfee Gym at Eastem Illinois University, Saturday 9 a.m.-11 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Contact Mike Thomason; Charleston IL or Kieth Wolcott; Charleston IL.

 

Feb. 27-28, Blacksburg, Virginia

The Virginia Technical Jugglers pre­sents the second Leap Day Juggling Festival. Activities will be in War Memorial Gym on the VIP campus from 10-10 on Saturday and 10-6 on Sunday. Competi­tions include five ball endurance, club passing, Simon Sez, and the Crazy Juggle (bring the three most unusual objects!) Contact Tom Kuhr;  Blacksburg VA.

 

Feb. 28-March 6, Pahoa, Hawaii

The Ninth Hawaiian Vaudeville Festival will be held on the big island of Hawaii, followed by a five day camping trip. Contact Hawaii's Volcano Circus; Pahoa HI.

 

March 6, Denton, Texas

The Denton and Dallas Jugglers Associations will host the annual Tejas Juggling Festival at the Denton Civic Center; in Denton. Open juggling, workshops and more will occur from 1 to 7 p.m., with a free public show at 7:30. There are no definite plans for a second day in Dallas on Sunday, but organizers suggest you keep your calendar open for that possibility. Contact Rodney Barton; Hickory Creek TX.

 

March 12-14, Millidgeville, Georgia

The first Georgia College Juggling Festival will be a 24-hour affair, beginning Friday at 5 p.m. and continuing until Sunday at 3 p.m. at Centennial Center Gym on the Georgia College campus. Competitions at 1 p.m. Saturday, Midnight Cabaret Saturday night and Public Show at 1 p.m. Sunday. Great lighting! Three basketball courts wide! $10 preregistration until Feb. 3, $12 early registration Feb. 3-March 7, $15 after March 7 and at the door. Make contact early for free housing opportunities. March 12-14, Chrlstchurch, New Zealand

New Zealand's first ever Juggling Convention is to be held in Christchurch. A full program including work­shops and shows is planned for the weekend. For info on the convention write to the organizers Pauline and Garry Nevin; 3 Up Down Under Juggling Co.; Christchurch; New Zealand.

 

March 19-21, Fort Collins, Colorado

The First Annual Northem Colorado Juggling Festi­val will be in the main ballroom of Lory Student Center on the campus of Colorado State University. Preregistration is $8, or pay $10 at the door. March 26, Chapel Hill, North Carolina

The UNC Juggling Club will sponsor its festival, beginning Friday night in the Camnichael Domn Ballroom and continuing Saturday in the Great Hall of the College Union.

 

April 2-4, Birmingham, England

April 9-11, Portland, Oregon

The Portland IJA affiliate, "No Problem, Easy Pickup," will host its second juggling festival at the Reed College Sports Center, featuring workshops, vendors, open juggling, games and a Saturday night Juggling and Vaudeville Extravaganza. Contact Stuart Celarier; Portland OR.

 

May 14-16, Ft. Wayne, Indiana
