Comedy juggler Bobby Hunt and Bonnie Kempling, who met at the 1990
IJA festival in Los Angeles, were married on January 29, 1994, near
Chicago. For their honeymoon, the pair put together an act to work
on a cruise ship in the Bahamas. Kempling, daughter of IJA faithfuls
Terry and Kaye Kempling, does social work in Chicago. Hunt's parents
are also entertainers. His father juggles and his mother had a rope
            and whip act.

Australian juggler Earl Shatford is tossing nine rings in
performance with the Flying Fruit Fly Circus. The group was founded
in recognition of "The Year of the Child" in 1979 and
features performers aged 8 to 18. Two years ago they employed six
Russian trainers for a three-month residency, and juggler Albert
Petrovski was among them. Shatford said his skills advanced rapidly
under Petrovski's tutelage, to the point that tricks in his act now
include five ring pancakes, seven balls, four clubs in a flat
shower, five club backcrosses, and the nine ring pulldown finale.
Shatford recently toured for three weeks with The Great Moscow
Circus, which included Alexander Frish as juggler and ringmaster.
Besides juggling, Shatford also pedals 11 other performers in a
group bike act and he works with a human pyramid.
