European
Festival Will Last Full Week The
1995 European Juggling Festival will be a week-long event August 11-18
in Gothenburg (Goteborg), Sweden. The site will be Skatas, an outdoor
recreation and exercise area on the edge of a nature reserve, five
minutes from the city center. It features a track for rollerblading or
unicycling, disk golf, swimming and fishing in a nearby lake, sauna
and hot tub. Workshops and 24-hour juggling will be in a nearby sports
complex. On-site camping for 200 tents and 150 camping vehicles is
available, but you should get in touch with organizers as soon as
possible if you want to stay .in a youth hostel or budget hotel.
Festival
events include games, workshops a volleyclub tournament, Renegade show
and a public show in the Statsteater. Food will be provided at low
cost by Goteborg's best vegetarian restaurant, Solrosen.
More
than 30,000 people are expected to be in Goteborg August 4-13 for the
World Cup Athletic Championships, so organizers urge street performers
to come early to take advantage of those crowds.

Charlotte Jugglers Association sponsors the Seventh Annual Hurricane
Hugo Flying Objects Juggling Festival at the Tuckaseegee Gymnasium on
Tuckaseegee Road. Games, shows and the Hurricane Challenge are

30-0ctober 1 Philadelphia, Penn. The
Philadelphia Jugglers invite everyone to their annual convention, to
be held this year at Drexel Hill Middle School in Upper Darby, a
suburb of Philadelphia. Times are 10 to 6:30 on Saturday and

6-8 Lodi, California The
1995 Lodi Juggling Festival will again be
held at Micke Grove Park and Zoo in Lodi. Camping, public show,
barbecue, street performing and a pervasive atmosphere of shared joy.

Quad Cities Juggling Club hosts a free festival at the Bettendorf
