When we first started off, the Flying Jeff:
We're influenced by the local guys Jeff Mason (gold medal in Denver,
first to win with diabolos), Scott Burton (juggling hero), Jerry
Martin OW "Funnies" editor, magician, P.T. Flamdazzle). JW:
Why is it we will never see a Dew Drop Jeff:

All the Vegas acts put rings around their heads. Like, catching a ring
on your neck JW:
What do you feel is the most underutilized prop in juggling? Jay:
Bouncing rings, Jeff:
We own 15. Mick:
Toasters... Porcelain dog dishes. JW:
What historical figure would make a good Dew Drop? Jeff:
Elvis... No, not Elvis. Mick:
Little Caesar, the pizza guy. Hercules. Jeff: Bugs Bunny. Mick:
Art Jennings. Talking with him was a JW:
What's the ideal venue for a Dew Drop Jay:
Senior citizens homes. They love us. Mick:
We should be saying colleges. That's Jeff:
Somewhere with a large stage. Jay:
A place where people have come to see Mick:
We've performed on boats, indoors, Jeff:
...for the fashion show. Mick was up 30 Jay:
Wanna talk about the toughest show It
was the Marshall Fields fashion show. The Dew Drops got hired to
juggle for a fashion show in Minneapolis and Chicago. They showed the
producers everything they had - comedy, club passing, unique props.
What they finally ended up doing was... Jeff:
Three minutes of the basic cascade. Mick: We were a very small
part of a very large
production. Jay:
No one ever addressed the possibility of dropping. They
did enjoy the benefit of being stuck backstage with all the beautiful
fashion models! JW:
What's your favorite moment in the Mick:
I look out at the people smiling and Jeff:
The back to back to back moment... (He pauses.) Being able to watch
the audience... Knowing how they're going to react. JW: You three also playa lot of combat. Jeff:
We love combat. Jay:
We would love for there to be an Mick:
Combat should be an Olympic sport. JW: What is the responsibility of a juggler? Jay:
Not to suck. Not to be lousy. Mick:
To entertain the audience. A lot of JW:
What do you see as the future of Mick:
In youth. We've got to keep Jeff:
It's hard to see juggling as mainstream entertainment. It'll be a long
time before we see a two-hour special on "The World's Greatest
Jugglers." Though we'd love to see it. JW: What's next for the Dew Drops? Mick:
Leno, national T.V. shows, Jay:
Bar mitzvas... Jeff: We're interested in competing again. Jay:
