Readers of the IJA Newsletter may be interested in a booklet and a set of small bean bags which I ran across in a bookstore on a recent trip to the West Coast.
The booklet is call "Juggling for the Complete Klutz" and has some 30 pages. Authors are John Cassidy and BC Rimbeaux, with cartoons by Diane Waller. In an easy, funny way it teaches the basics of juggling three objects in a regular and reverse cascade, and simple ball passing. There are a lot of useful hints. Review by George Novotny (IJA Newsletter, May 1978)
Lindsay Leslie has prepared a comprehensive proposal for rating jugglers and juggling tricks, e.g., a "black belt" juggler should be able to perform certain difficult juggling tricks. Lindsay has asked that his proposal be considered at upcoming convention. (IJA Newsletter, May 1978)
Berlin - Kit Summers, John Fox, and Karl Heinz Ziethen sent a group postcard to the IJA. Karl-Heinz thanks everyone for the good time had while visiting the USA. Kit and John are enjoying Karl-Heinz's tremendous juggling memorabilia collection while they are staying in Berlin. (IJA Newsletter, October-November 1978) |
Karl-Heinz Ziethen contributed to the IJA newsletter from his huge collection of juggling memorabilia. |
