THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES (AND, THE COMPUTER!)

John Robinson, who maintained the IJA membership list for the past four years, has passed the job on. In his calm and considerate fashion, J .R. served the organization nobly, putting in many overtime hours updating records on a large computer at his job site and printing out mailing labels whenever needed. Not one to leave the IJA stranded without his valuable services, J .R. picked out and helped purchase for the organization a Digital Rainbow 1000 computer. He also trained secretary Rich Chamberlin in its use, and helped set it up in Rich's Kenmore, N.Y., IJA office.

RETIREE SPEAKS ON JOYS OF LIFE AFTER IJA SERVICE

An open letter to members from retiring championships director Greg Moss:

I'd like to thank everyone for the opportunity to serve the IJA for the past four years. I hope during that time I've taken the championships in the right direction. But I couldn't have accomplished anything without your support.

The reason I decided to withdraw my candidacy for championships director is simple: I want to go to future conventions and have fun. It didn't really hit me until I was in the sports pavilion in Las Vegas and someone asked me, "Do you juggle or do you just run the championships?" I knew then it was time to retire.

My successor, Holly Greeley, is a tremendous person (and juggler, too!). I'm confident she'll be a great championships director. PIease give her your support in this tough and often thankless job. A special thanks to all members (especially Nick Gatto) who contributed towards the beautiful watch presented to me. I sincerely appreciate the memento. So, everyone have a great year and I'll see you in Atlanta. And for one last time, "Thank you, judges!"
