FESTIVALS

 

Oct. 8 - West Lafayette , Indiana

The Purdue Jugglers will host a festival at Purdue University on Saturday from 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. Contact David Ward.

 

Oct. 29-30 - Giessen , W. Germany

The first Giessen Juggling Convention will take place in the Main Auditorium (Audimax) of Geissen University and feature a Saturday evening public show. Call Ebi Kraatz.

 

Nov. 11-13 - Amherst , Mass.

The first U. Mass Juggling Festival will be held in the Lincoln Campus Center Auditorium on campus. Registration is $5 in advance or $10 at the door. Juggling begins at 3 p.m. Friday and continues through 5 p.m. Sunday. There will be a free public show on Saturday evening. There is no free sleeping space. but registrants can reserve triple room in the Campus Center for $20 per person per night. Jan. 29-Feb. 5, 1989 - Pahoa , Hawaii

The Club Volcano Festival will take place at the Belly Acres juggling resort. Contact Graham Ellis, Pahoa , HI.

 

Jan. 26-29 - Eilat , Israel

The Second Red Sea Juggling Festival has been announced for these dates. Contact Roni and Rusty, Jerusalem , Israel .

 

Feb, 24-26 - Williamsburg , Virginia

The Second Annual Virginia State Juggling Championships will be a part of the Seventh Annual Circus Magic convention in Williamsburg , Va. Contact Steve Kissel, Norfolk , VA.

 

March 17-19, 1989 - Ann Arbor , Michigan

The Jugglers of Ann Arbor announce their Mid­Winter Festival from Friday 3 p.m. through Sunday. Open juggling, workshops, a party and a performance by The Flying Karamazov on Saturday night at the Michigan Theatre. Show tickets are $16.50.
