Getting o Started: Having One Thrown InTw

This is the easiest way to start two and requires a friend.

Two people standing next to each other facing the same way, each gets a diabolo spinning. The person on the left throws theirs in a low arc to the right hand side of the string of the other person. There are now two diabolos going around on one string.

Tip: It is very important that the throw in is accurate. If you have to reach for the second diabolo it will not work. When the second diabolo lands on the string, the first will jump up fairly high. Let it do so. Do not try to throw it across or it will go out of control.

Two-Diabolo Circles

This is not really a trick, but it is very good for practicing round the world tricks and also looks quite impressive.

Get two going on one string. Move the whole thing in a large circle going clockwise from your point of view.

You will find that it has its own speed and seems to almost pull itself around, this comes in very useful for around the world tricks.

Throw Around Back

Throw the diabolo about one foot up diagonally out to the right. Bring the right hands tick down over the top of the diabolo, catching it as shown.

Bring your right hand around behind your back so that the diabolo is now on the left side of your body. Throw the diabolo back over to the right side of your body.

Note: It is very important to keep your left hand out from your body so that the string stays fairly tight. If the string is too loose then the diabolo will get wrapped up in it.
