European Festival Set for Sweden

The 1995 European Juggling Festival will be August 11-18 in Gothenburg (Goteborg), Sweden. The site will be Skatas, an outdoor recreation and exercise area on the edge of a nature preserve, five minutes from the city center. It features a track for rollerblading or unicycling, disk golf, swimming, sauna and hot tub. Workshops and 24-hour juggling will be in a nearby sports complex. On-site camping for tents and autos is plentiful, but you should get in touch with organizers as soon as possible if you want to stay in a youth hostel or budget hotel.

Festival events include games, workshops and a public show in the Statsteater. Food will be provided at low cost by Goteborg's best vegetarian restaurant, Solrosen.

More than 30,000 people are expected to be in Goteborg the week prior to the juggling festival for the World Cup Athletic Championships, so organizers urge street performers to come early to take advantage of those crowds.
