May 17 - 19, Fort Wayne, Indiana

Juggler's Anonymous presents its 16th annual Sir Isaac Newton Memorial Juggling Festival at Franke Park's Pavilion # 1 . The festival will include open juggling, contests, egg juggling, videos and a pizza party. Registration is $5, but you can deduct $2 if you buy a t-shirt. Contact Dave Wilkins or Dave Parnin0.

 

May 18 - 19 Aurora, Illinois

The Fox Valley Park District and Up For Grabs, an IJA affiliate, presents a juggling festival in the Guy V. Prisco Community Center (McCullough Park) at the southeast comer of Route 31 and Illinois Ave. Hours are 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday, and 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Sunday. May 18 -19, Cleveland, Ohio

"Juggling With Finesse" workshop with Kit Summers at St. Ignatius High School from 10-5 each day. Intended to help you progress in juggling technique and performance. Registration $75. Contact Kit Summers; Trainer PA.

June 8, Kutztown, Pennsylvania

The Reading Jugglers Club presents its Fifth Annual June Jugglefest at Kutztown University, rain or shine! Events begin at noon with workshops, open juggling, exhibitors and door prizes. The "Show of Juggling Stars" will be held from 7­9 p.m. Contact Dave Buase; Pottstown PA, or Jim Stilianos.

 

June 14 -16, Washington, D.C.

The Fourth Annual Continental Congress of Jugglers - A National Festival! will be held at The Potomac School in McLean , Va. (near the CIA building). Hosts are The U.S. Department of Juggling, the Jugglers of Bowie, the Fairfax Juggling Club, and the Baltimore Jugglers Association, with sponsorship by The Juggling Capital. Featured events include jug­gling until midnight, a Public Shaw, a variety of feet- and hands-on workshops, frivolous and formal games and the "selective raffle" where you choose which prizes you want to win. June 15 - 17, Everywhere

The IJA urges affiliates and clubs to celebrate World Juggling Day (June 19) this weekend with a public event in their areas. Contact affiliates director Deena Frooman; Charleston SC.

 

July 16-21, Rapid City, South Dakota

The 49th IJA Annual Festival will be in the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. Contact Ginny Rose; Montague MA.

 

August 12-18, Grenoble, France

The 19th European Juggling Festival will be in the French Alpine city of Grenoble. Rooms are available for rental, and camping is permitted. Registration is $48 in advance, $60 at the door. Contact Alain Brissard Grenoble.

 

October 11- 13, Lodi, California

The 1996 Lodi Juggling Festival will again be held at Micke Grove Park and Zoo in Lodi. Camping, public show, barbecue, street performing and a pervasive atmosphere of shared job. Contact Andrew Conway; San Francisco CA.

 

November 8-10, Bettendorf, Iowa
