Globe Terms & Privacy Statement

The organizers of World Juggling Day 2003 want to provide you with registration options which protect your privacy.

The information you provide when you fill out the registration form will not be shared with anyone except the International Jugglers' Association (IJA) (a non-profit organization). And we will not share your registration data with the IJA unless you indicate your consent on the registration form and you indicate that you are 18 years of age or older. By default, your registration will not be shared.

If you allow your data to be shared with the IJA, the IJA may contact you to provide information or offers about the services and products that it provides. Whether or not you share your registration data, you are still eligible to participate in all World Juggling Day activities and the prize giveaway.

World Juggling Day event organizers will contact you via e-mail whether or not you share your registration data with the IJA, for the purpose of informing you about World Juggling Day events, or sending information about the World Juggling Day web site.

If you are a World Juggling Day 2003 prize winner, we will notify you via e-mail and we may also post your name, city and country on the World Juggling Day web site. You may contact the sponsor to claim your prize. The act of claiming a prize from a sponsor should be considered the same as entering into a customer relationship with that sponsor - the sponsor's individual privacy policy would apply to the transaction, and the World Juggling Day 2003 privacy policy would not apply.

If you advertise a World Juggling Day event in your registration form, we'll publish that information on the web site. People who read the announcement may choose to contact you through our web site. This is done through a "blind" form which does not expose the recipient's e-mail address to the sender. At the recipient's sole discretion and risk, they may choose to reply to such messages (which may expose their e-mail address). The sender's address is exposed to the recipient when the message is sent. Only registered users can receive contact messages. Registrants who do not wish to be contacted through the World Juggling Day web site must select that preference on the registration form. Selecting that preference also means that your event will not be listed on our web site.

Please limit event descriptions to about 50 words if you link to an Event URL (web page), or 100 words if you do not. Event listings may be edited for space and clarity by the organizers of World Juggling Day 2003. Inappropriate event listings and inappropriate web page links will be removed.

The World Juggling Day web site, software, and database (which collect and hold your registration data) are presented for your use "as is" and without any express or implied warranties, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall the designers, operators, organizers or sponsor(s) of the World Juggling Day web site, software, or database be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential damages however caused (including negligence or otherwise) arising in any way out of the use of this web site, software or database, even if advised of the possibility of such damage.

The following people are not eligible to win World Jugging Day prizes: IJA board members, employees and officials; employees of the sponsors of WJD; and developers of this World Juggling Day web site.

The organizers of World Juggling Day 2003 reserve the right to update this policy.
