January 1980                                   Volume 32 No. 1

IJA Makes The Payment Painless

Yes, gentle people, it's that time of year again. The IJA collects dues from its members every January. To do your part, you need only look on the mailing label we used to send you this roster and write a check or money order to "IJA" for the amount printed next to your name. Send it to our good secretary at her address below:

Judy Durkin Pelham, NH

You will find a convenient renewal form on the inside back page of the issue. Cut it out, filling out your mailing address only if it has changed from what we printed on the label. Otherwise, leave it blank. You will notice that the mailing label is on the reverse of the renewal form, so we can tell who you are from that even if your signature is illegible.

Your dues will keep you on the membership rolls until January 1981. Members who have been with us for at least a year pay the normal $6 yearly dues. Those of you who have joined during the past year will find you owe less than $6. Even if you decide not to renew your new membership, we will see to it that you get your full year's subscription to the Newsletter. Members who have paid up already will find their labels marked PAID. Honorary members should see FREE. Those of you who have a family membership will find your dues listed as $6.

That is incorrect. Please add a dollar, as the mailing label printing system couldn't tell the difference between you and our individual members.

Future Newsletters will continue to show dollar amounts owed to the IJA until you pay this year's dues, lest you forget to do that. Paid up members will find a FREE indication of subscription status on labels as we receive and record your payment. Please help us out by sending changes of address to Judy at the above address. By far the majority of complaints about missed issues are those that were sent to an old address after the member moved. Since we send Newsletters third class, they are generally not forwarded by the Post Office. If they are returned, we owe extra postage as well.
