THE 7 BALL BOGEY WAS FINALLY beaten back in this year's IJA Numbers championship. Four of the 17 competitors beat the old record of 7.66 seconds, with Tony Duncan on top at 20.89.

But as the final competitor on his final try, squeezed out a close victory over Dan Bennett's previously established 18.93 seconds.

Duncan said his top time in practice is almost 55 seconds (between 5 and 6 throws per second).      .
