Cornerbrook Festival in Cornerbrook, Newfoundland. He reported
that Waldo worked the fringe of the festival, along
with Woodhead (Mark Keppel). Those two are reportedly
going to get back together with Whitlow (Ron Labbe) for
at least six
months per year of trio performances. Nelson says he's
co-authoring a book on street performing with Todd Strong, and
that the two are looking for how-to information, as well as
human interest "stories from the street." Contact
him if you've
got anything to offer.

Randy Bums, who
does a silent mechanical man act. Jugglers performing
included Ken Zemach, from Boston, who
presents The Bucky Charles Show, including five torches
and a flaming eight foot
unicycle. The Tri Jesters were back,
with 14-year-old Dana now doing five torches, seven
balls and an eight foot unicycle. He rode the unicycle
and
passed with Kyla and Alexis as they stood on stilts.

The Raspyni Brothers, Dan Holzman and Barry
Friedman, appeared on television episodes of
Evening at the Improv and Candid Camera this fall.
Their Candid Camera routine involved a skit
where they posed as strangers to each other and a third
party, and unloaded a truck full of balls at a sports chalet.
When they began throwing the balls to each other, the
unsuspecting shill got involved, then was blamed for the
monkeybusiness when the boss appeared. The Raspynis report
it's been a good television year, with appearances on about
eight network shows. HoIzman is also working hard on a golf
manipulation routine with an eye toward opening a new market
for his talents.

Sugra Morley beat the rap in court after being arrested
for juggling in a public fountain in Queen Elizabeth Square in
Auckland, New Zealand. He was charged with disorderly conduct,
but the judge threw out the charge after reading the
prosecution summary, saying it was a waste of
taxpayer money. Morley was prepared to plead that
juggling five balls required a great deal or order and could
not possibly be
disorderly. Morley, 41, performs throughout the country
and is described in a newspaper article as a "hitchhiker,
storyteller, poet, didgeridoo player and juggler in
strange places."
