Juggler's World _____________________________________________________________________________
Fall 1992 Volume 44 No. 3
FEATURES An
irreverent look at the IJA festival in Montreal, fondly recalling
steep hills, long registration lines, juggling Gods and the
controversy and chaos that 1,000 jugglers invariably create when put
in the same shoebox at the same time. Michael
Moschen revealed in a festival workshop the very personal sources of
the material he presents on stage, and challenged listeners to look
inside, rather than outside, for creative ideas. Miguel
Herrera defected from his homeland in hopes of finding artistic and
personal freedom in America. By winning the Montreal Individuals
Championship, he showed he has the juggling ability to achieve his
dreams.
Stories
on Benji Hill & Chuck Gunter's Teams win, Sean McKinney in the
Juniors, complete joggling results and excerpts from the awards. Expatriate
Neil Stammer returns to his native lands to face the demons of
capitalism by joining with a friend to open America's first
all-juggling retail store in the nation's capitol city. DEPARTMENTS |
