The
Oak View Elementary School Exhibitional Activities Club celebrated its
25th anniversary by performing in the shool's annual physical education
show before almost 3,000 spectators. In addition to juggling, the young
performers displayed unicycling, German gym wheel, stilt walking,
tumbling, gymnastics, Roman ladders, low tightwire, balancing, contortion
and rolling globe. After the show, a special reception was held in honor
of physical education teacher Jim Moyer, who
originated the troupe in 1968 and has directed its 1,500 appearances since
that time.

Jochen Schell, Dutch juggler Erik Borgman and Polish juggler Zee Daneck,

Olivier presented "Frank Olivier: Inside Out," in Oakland
in June.
And,
we conclude with news of the newest juggling generation... Mona and Russ
Kaufman are the proud parents of their first child, a son named Daniel
Moshe, born on July 23. Russ is an IJA Life Member, past president and
former newsletter editor of the Baltimore Jugglers Association. He has
taught juggling classes for the
Montgomery
County
(Md.) recreation department since 1991. Reed and
Cristina Payne of
Brooklyn
, known collectively as The Juggling Paynes, have recently delivered a new
potential New York Juggler's Club member - Marina Angelique was born on
May 15. Mark and Scott Neisser are also proud parents of their first
child. Mark, the 1990 Senior Champion, reports that daughter Haley Coryn
was born July 4 in
Los Angeles.
