Gold Medal: The Juniors winner was 14year-old Joey Cousin, a rising ninth grader from Tampa, Fla., who performs regularly as "Joey the Juggler." The third time was the charm for Joey, who finished seventh in Montreal and fourth last year in Fargo. Joey juggled up to five balls, clubs and rings, and finished with a seven ball cascade.

Silver Medal: The second place Junior was Artiom Khomanko, a 14-year-old from the Ukraine who was in this country this summer performing for eight weeks with Circus Smirkus. He juggled five balls and

clubs and six rings. Artiom comes from a circus family, with his father playing a clown and his mother also performing.

Bronze Medal: Third place went to Casey Boehmer of Jerseyville, Ill., who trained for this championship for two years. He inspired the crowd to a standing ovation by juggling up to four balls, clubs and rings with his single arm. He also attempted to flash five rings and balls. Boehmer has considerable performing experience as one of the "Boehmer Family Jugglers," an eightmember troupe of brothers and sisters who were all taught by their father, Larry Boehmer. They perform regularly in Illinois and Missouri.

sticked a club and finished with a brief five club cascade.

Victor Teslenko, a 12-year-old performer from Moscow who was also performing with Circus Smirkus, did fast work with five rings and up to five clubs.
