 NOTES

* Monkey Wrench, the team of Rich Ross and Scotty Meltzer, was featured for about 10 minutes on the television show Utah 95, juggling and talking about what it means to be funny, how to create funny material, and making up stories about why Rich wears a Jugghead hat on stage (because 75% of body heat is lost through the head!)

* Scott Sorensen, the IJA's numbers champion with rings for the past two years, flashed eight sticks in April. Sorensen, 25, who juggles with the Cincinnati Club Club, had been working with six and seven clubs, but switched to handmade sticks for eight because he didn't have enough clubs. During the same week-long practice period, he attempted to flash 12 rings, but never achieved that mark. He said he can frequently flash 10, and occasionally do 11. "But the 12 was a lot harder than I thought," he admitted. Sorensen plans to enter the numbers championship again in Las Vegas, and hopes to get a legal run with nine rings this time around.
