Meeting to elect chairperson for new board
1. CALL TO ORDER: Chair Kim Laird called the meeting to order at 10:39 p.m. PDT.
2. ROLL: Present: Kim Laird, Kevin Axtell, Matt Hall, Richard Kennison, Kevin McBeth, Erin Stephens, and Thom Wall (Board Members), Brandi Slater (recording secretary)
Absent:
3. MOTIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
Motion to elect Kim Laird as chairperson
Motion: Kevin Axtell
Second: Erin Stephens
Discussion: Thank you to Kim for continuing on as chairperson
Vote: Passed by unanimous consent
Motion to approve volunteers to continue in their current positions
Motion: Matt Hall
Second: Kevin Axtell
Discussion: Martin Frost will be asked to send out emails letting current volunteers know that they are all encouraged to continue if they want to.
Vote: Passed by unanimous consent
Motion to adjourn the meeting
Motion: Kevin Axtell
Second: Matt Hall
Vote: Passed by unanimous consent
4. NEXT MEETING: The next meeting will be held on Friday, July 28th at 5pm PDT in the room Pavillion A. This will be published in the fest newsletter.
