IJA Board Meeting - July 18, 2002

Present: Paul Richmond, chairman; Art Jennings, Bill Ritchie, Andy Ford, Ben Schoenberg, David Davis, Jaye Butler, Scott Slesnick, board members; Braidy Brown, past chairman; Richard Dingman, secretary/treasurer; Norman Schneiderman, general manager; a number of IJA members.

Meeting called to order at 4:30pm.

Paul presented the agenda. The only order of business was to elect the new board chairperson for the coming year.

Discussion ensued as to the responsibilities and roles of the chair.

David Davis nominated Andy Ford. Andy accepted the nomination.

Bill Ritchie nominated Paul Richmond. Paul accepted the nomination.

Discussion and questions ensued.

(Art excused himself from the meeting due to health reasons. He wrote his vote for chairman on a ballot before leaving.)

A vote was called:

• Jaye Butler - Paul Richmond
• Scott Slesnick - Paul Richmond
• Ben Schoenberg - Paul Richmond
• Art Jennings (by ballot) - Paul Richmond
• Paul Richmond - Paul Richmond

Paul Richmond was elected as chairman and accepted.

Meeting was adjourned at 5:45pm.
